How long does it take to produce one Genuine Reber Mozart-Kugel®?
It takes approx. 45 minutes to produce one Mozart-Kugel – from preparing the ingredients and giving it its final chocolate glaze to wrapping it in its golden foil.
How much cocoa is in the chocolates?
The premium Reber bittersweet dark chocolate contains at least 60% cocoa. Our velvety smooth milk chocolate enchants the taste buds with 35% cocoa.
Which almonds are used?
Highly aromatic Californian almonds with a particularly strong almond aroma.
What process is used to produce the marzipan?
Our marzipan is produced using the traditional Lübeck process, where the marzipan mixture is freshly roasted in open copper kettles.
Which hazelnuts are used?
Only the best and largest hazelnuts from the Mediterranean: Levantine hazelnuts with an extraordinary flavour.
How long does Reber confectionary last and how should I store it at home?
Our products should be consumed within 12 months and stored in a cool and dry place at a temperature of 16 – 18°C.

Our Reber factory outlet is located at our factory in Bad Reichenhall.

Do you offer tours of the factory at your production facility in Bad Reichenhall?
To maintain our high standards of quality, we work in accordance with the highest standards of hygiene. This means that our production floor can only be accessed by appropriately trained and qualified staff, and that we unfortunately cannot offer any public tours. However, this enables us to give our products the highest level of Reber quality each and every day.es
Where can I find calorie and nutritional information about the individual Reber products?
You can find information on the calorie content and nutritional values on the back of all of our products, here on the website, and in the Reber Online Shop.
I have allergies. Which Reber products may contain milk constituents, gluten, hazelnuts, peanuts, soy or eggs?
In accordance with food laws, all of the ingredients in our Reber products are listed on the packaging. But even if a product recipe does not contain any of these foods, it is possible that small particles of these allergens get into the product through cross-contamination. We make consumers aware of this with the caution “May contain traces of...”, because we want to make sure that you are able to enjoy our products without any worries.
Is Reber confectionary kosher?
In order to comply with Jewish dietary laws, Kashrut expert Rabbi T. Hod-Hochwald of the Chief Rabbinate of Jerusalem regularly inspects the production processes of our Reber confectionary, as well as the production and sourcing of our ingredients.
The Genuine Reber Mozart-Kugeln®, the Reber Mozart Herz’l® and the Constanze® Mozart-Kugeln are kosher dairy for the whole year, except for Passover. More information can be found at the Reber quality.

While most of our products contain a small amount of alcohol to round off their flavour, we also produce several alcohol-free products:

Where can I find a particular Reber product?
It is possible that a certain product may not be readily available at all retail stores. As of now, you can find our entire range in the new Reber Online Shop at www.shop.reber.com.
However, a few exclusive products are only available in our Reber stores in Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg. Come and visit us and see for yourself!
What does the Best Before Date (BBD) indicate?
This date on a food product indicates the date by which a product can be enjoyed if it is correctly stored. This guarantees the consistent quality of the products.
Why is the Reber Online Shop closed during summer?
Reber chocolates are products of the highest quality – free from preservatives and additives. Because of this, our specialities are heat-sensitive and we do not deliver via the Online Shop during the summer months (until the start of September). However, you can still find our confectionary in a wide range of local shops (super and hypermarkets, shopping centres and department stores etc.). Ask about the Reber confectionary!
